Refund policy
At Suede & Stitch, every pair is made to order in our family workshop. We take pride in the quality of every pair that leaves our hands and stand fully behind our craft. Please read our policy carefully before placing your order.
7-Day Exchange Window
We offer a 7-day exchange window from the date of delivery. We do not offer refunds except in the case of a manufacturing defect or incorrect item sent. This is because every pair is handcrafted specifically for you once your order is placed and cannot be restocked or resold.
To be eligible for an exchange the following conditions must be met:
The request must be raised within 7 days of delivery. The pair must be completely unworn with no signs of use, scuffing or wear. The pair must be returned in its original packaging with all original contents. The pair must not have been exposed to water, moisture or any cleaning products.
How to Raise an Exchange Request
Email us at hello@suedeandstitch.in within 7 days of delivery with the following:
Your order number. Your registered name and phone number. The reason for exchange. Clear photographs of the pair from all angles.
Our team will review your request within 24 to 48 hours and respond with next steps. We reserve the right to reject exchange requests that do not meet the above conditions.
Manufacturing Defects
If your pair arrives with a genuine manufacturing defect or was damaged in transit, we will replace it at no cost to you. Please email us at hello@suedeandstitch.in within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photographs of the defect. We will arrange a reverse pickup and dispatch a replacement pair promptly.
What constitutes a manufacturing defect: stitching coming undone before first wear, sole detachment before first wear, incorrect colour or size sent.
What does not constitute a manufacturing defect: natural variation in suede texture and colour, minor scuffs caused during transit, general wear and tear after use.
Refunds
We do not offer monetary refunds except in the following circumstances:
Your order was cancelled within 12 hours of placement and production had not yet begun. A manufacturing defect is confirmed and a replacement is not possible. An incorrect item was sent and a replacement is not possible.
In these cases a full refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
Order Cancellations
Since every pair is made to order, cancellations are only accepted within 12 hours of placing the order. After 12 hours production begins and cancellations will not be possible. To cancel email us immediately at hello@suedeandstitch.in with your order number.
Size Exchanges
We offer one free size exchange per order within 7 days of delivery. The pair must be unworn and in original packaging. Reverse pickup will be arranged by us. Your new size will be dispatched within 3 to 5 business days of receiving the original pair.
Return Shipping
For manufacturing defects and incorrect items we will arrange and bear the cost of reverse pickup. For size exchanges we will arrange reverse pickup at no charge for the first exchange. We do not accept self-shipped returns.
Final Sale Items
Any products purchased during a sale or with a discount code are not eligible for exchange or return unless they arrive with a manufacturing defect.
